Endowed Scholarships
Endowment Scholarships
are established with a minimum gift of $25,000 to the Loretto
High School Endowment Fund. This is a very touching
way to honor a friend or loved one while making a difference
in the lives of the students at Loretto High School.
The Harold
M. Anderson Memorial Scholarship
Harold Anderson
was a dedicated president of the the Loretto Dad's Club.
Six of his daughters and five granddaughters attended Loretto
High School. This scholarship will be awarded annually
to a Loretto Scholar who has made a personal commitment
to living a life of service.

The Andrew
Ray Katnik M.D. Memorial Scholarship
The Andrew Ray Katnik
M.D. Memorial Scholarship was established in March of 2006,
in memory of Dr. Andrew Katnik (1954-2005), loving father
of 4 Loretto alumni. Dr. Katnik was the oldest of six children,
born to Andy and Betty Katnik on December 16, 1954, in Orange
California. He excelled in academics and athletics.
He graduated from the University of Southern California in
1977 and USC Medical School in 1981.

Elizabeth Figeroid '07, Katherine Ford '09, Madelyn Hallerman
'09 and Brieanna Houlihan '08.
The Father
Leo McAllister Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship
was established in memory of Father Leo McAllister, pastor
and co-founder of the Sacramento Food Bank. He gave
strong voice to his deep committment to care for "the
least" among us. This scholarship will be awarded
each year to the applicant who best exemplifies Father Leo's
life:someone who walked daily with Christ and shared his joy
in knowing our good and loving Lord.

The Matthew
Walker Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship
was established in December 2005, in memory of the father
of Mrs. Wendy Vismara and grandfather of Marissa Vismara '08.
Mr. Walker passed away in 2004.
This scholarship
is awarded to a student who lives with an open mind and a
compassionate heart in working alongside the many diverse
groups in society with recognition, respect for differing
beliefs and with a thirst for knowledge of all segments of
society, however different from her own.
