Memorials and Tributes

Memorial and tribute gifts offer a wonderful way to remember family and friends who hold a special place in your life.  Tribute gifts provide a meaningful way to celebrate special occasions and anniversaries, while contributing to the educational needs of young women throught the Loretto Endowment Fund.  The names of those honored are entered into a Book of Remembrance in the Sister Nora Lowe, IBVM Chapel of Loretto High School.  An announcement of your gift will be sent to the person you are remembering or the loved one of the deceased, informing them of your thoughtfulness. (No mention is made of the amount of your contribution)

The Loretto Endowment Fund is held in perpetuity and invested.  Income from the fund provides a source of funding for scholarships, quality education programs and academic grants.  It is the cornerstone of support not only for meeting the needs of today's students through scholarship, but for building the strength of Loretto in years to come.

The permanent "Endowment Tree" display at Loretto is a remembrance and continuing thanks to those contributing substantially to our endowment.  Cumulative gifts to the Endowment Fund are recognized at different levels.

If you would like to make a memorial or tribute gift to the Loretto Endowment Fund contact Mimi Scherber Director of Development at (916)482-7793 Ext. 109 or
