Endowment

The Loretto Endowment Fund is the cornerstone of support for meeting the growing and ever changing needs of today's students through scholarships and providing financial strength for years to come.  In the year 2006-2007 the interest on endowment funded $68,000 in scholarships and financial aid.  The Loretto Endowment Fund is held in perpetuity and invested.  Income from the fund provides a source of funding for scholarships.

Loretto High School has been the grateful recipient of several endowed scholarships. This extraordinary level of memorial giving, combined with the generous gifts from many other donors , has moved the Loretto Endowment Fund beyond 1.5 million. Reaching this milestone has increased our annual scholarship ability while allowing the principle of the Endowment Fund's continued growth.
