Dear Loretto Community,
A Loretto education
is a mission, rich in tradition and opportunities. During
our 52nd academic year, know you are a significant player
in the Loretto tradition of educational excellence.
I know that you chose Loretto for many different reasons,
but I hope one of them was being drawn to our distinct
philosophy and mission. The Loretto educational mission is to guide your daughter to be a
woman of faith, educationally astute and dedicated to a life of service. Ours is not simply an
education of the mind but an education for life. In four short years, you will witness a profound
change in your daughter as she grows from a girl to a young woman. I feel privileged
to share this journey with you and pledge all of our resources in making this a great experience
for your family.
I need your help. You already know what tuition is, but you may not be aware that tuition
alone does not cover the cost of a Loretto education. The Annual Fund, Every Gift Matters, is
a program designed to cover the shortfall between the tuition and the real cost of a Loretto
education. This letter is my appeal to you... will you help me cover $1,535.00 per student?
This approach allows you to make a gift to Loretto which may provide a tax benefit.
I know you share
a love for our mission of providing the finest Catholic education.
You chose the best! You want her to be exposed to the best
curriculum, the most advanced technology, and competitive
programs on a safe and attractive campus. I wish tuition alone
could cover all this, it simply does not. Annual Fund gifts
help meet the expenses of our busy campus.
.
As you consider Every Gift Matters, know that your participation is integral to Loretto's
success! Some families simply can not afford to give the full amount while others can give in
excess of $1,535.00. It is my hope that each family will participate according to their means.
Every Gift Matters!
Your generous support of Loretto makes this an exceptional experience. Thank you for all
that you do.
Sincerely,
Sr. Helen Timothy, IBVM President
